EXOTIC WEB MEDIA DIGITAL CHANNEL WORLD WIDE Navratri special નવરાત્રિ વિશ્વભરમાં નૃત્ય ઉત્સવ તરીકે પ્રખ્યાત છે. તેના વિવિધ સ્વરૂપો વિશે થોડું જાણવું ખૂબ જ રસપ્રદ છે. આજથી ગરબાના વિવિધ સ્વરૂપો વિશે હું થોડી વાત કરીશ. ગુજરાતની શેરીઓમાંથી નીકળીને જ્યાં જ્યાં ગુજરાતીઓ વસે છે તેવા દુનિયાના દરેક દેશ સુધી પહોંચેલો વિશ્વનો સૌથી લાંબો નૃત્ય મહોત્સવ નવરાત્રિ આપણને વિશ્વ સમક્ષ ગૌરવભેર ઉન્નત મસ્તકે રાખી શકે તેમ છે. ગોફ ગુંથન કે અઠીંગો એવું જ એક મનોહર લોકનૃત્ય છે. ખુલ્લા મેદાનમાં વચ્ચે ખોડેલા વાંસ સાથે લાંબી દોરીઓનો ગુચ્છો બાંધવામાં આવે, દોરીનો બીજો છેડો નીચે ઉભેલા નૃત્યકારના એક હાથમાં અને બીજા હાથમાં દાંડિયો રહે છે. સંગીતના તાલે અંદર -બહાર ફરતા નૃત્યકારો દોરીની સુંદર ગુંથણી કરે છે,અને ફરી પાછા ઉંધી દિશામાં ફરતાં-ફરતાં આ ગુંથણીને છોડતા જાય છે. આ નૃત્ય દ્વાપર યુગથી અસ્તિત્વમાં હોવાનું મનાય છે. કહેવાયછે કે,ભગવાન શ્રી કૃષ્ણ મોરલી બજાવતા અને ગોપ તથા ગોપીઓ ગોફ ગુંથતા હતા. Starting today, I will share some insights on various forms of Garba. A beautiful symphony with perfect balance and an abundance of grace can be seen in a unique dance form Gof. Gof, also known as 'Athangya Nritya', is a form of folk dance in which a giant bamboo pole is erected in the center and has strong ropes dangling from the top. The dancers use the other end of these ropes, twirl and perform with a dandiya stick on the other hand. This 300-year-old form of dance is performed in the streets of the Saurashtra region and requires years of practice.
